Additional Teacher Appreciation Gifts!

As you can see from my previous posts, I had a VERY busy crafting weekend!
I really appreciate the support these ladies give me as a classroom teacher, so it's my pleasure to make these things for them.
Here you have an altered project - They are the Stampin' Up Clear Stamp cases, made into a personalized notepad holder.

This notepad holder matches the Satchel Purse I made my principal.  You can see the insides below.  I layered each label with 3 punches, and went over the letters with the Wink of Stella brush.  I really LOVE that Wink of Stella!  It sounds so cool, too!

This notepad matches the purse I made for our Vice-Principal.

This stamp case went to our Health Clerk.  I had two of my girls deliver it.

Here you can see the inside of the notepad.
Every time I see these, the advice is to always go to an office supply store, and they will cut the notepads down to size.
I work at a SCHOOL!!!  We have guillotine cutters, and I cut it from the back cardboard back about half of the pad, turned it over, and cut the front.  It fit like a charm. SO if you're making these notepad holders, ask one of your child's teachers.  They just MIGHT cut the notepads for you!

If you'd like to purchase any of the products to duplicate this project as gifts, click on the product, and I would be happy to be your Stampin' Up demonstrator!
Thank you!

More Painted Blooms

At the card class I gave, we made 8 cards, so each attendee had a choice of 2 more cards from the following selection.

The first one looks complicated, but it really isn't.  The most difficult thing was putting the bow together, and that's just fun - and lots of glue dots!!

I love all the cards, but this last one uses the strip you cut off to make the One-Sheet Wonders posted 2 days ago, so there was no waste! :)

Nephew's Birthday Card

I'm still in love with this Thinlits card base!  REALLY LOVE IT!

January is lots of birthdays in our house - my sister's, my nephew's, some friends.... lots of birthdays!

The yellow card I made for my sister, and this Island Indigo card I made for her son are exactly the same card base, but so very different!

I even used the same DSP stack - Gingham Garden for both cards.  It wasn't a matter of being lazy, or not imaginative, just that the colors worked so well.

Here's the inside view of his card.  I really enjoy having that inside panel for messages.

Family's Christmas Gifts ~ Part 2

Part 2 of 3 of the Christmas gifts I made this year for the family.

I made 9 of these note card holders and card sets for family and friends this year.  The idea came from my up-line Kathy who always has such AWESOME projects for us!  I made a few changes, and sent them to family members and some friends I reconnected with this year.

These wall letters also came from Kathy during our Stamp Camp in early October this year.    They are customized for each family.

This W went to my cousin and his wife in Texas.

This W is for my Aunt and Uncle.

This S is for another Aunt and Uncle.

This G is for my nephew and his wife.  He was pretty puzzled why I asked about the colors in their house.  Guess he figured out why now. :)

This G is for my sister and her husband.  They have a log home, and I know the colors will work GREAT in their place.

This is for my nephew.  He's single, so no flowers for him!  :)
