Wedding Card

I'm recycling this wedding card *again*.. just because I love it so much!  It has lots of details, and makes such a pretty card!

My very dear friend from high school was married at the end of May, so I sent this out to her.  She's in the middle of her honeymoon, so I do hope she received it before they left!

The Groom heart is a 3 piece process - just like the suit!  Cut the black heart down just past center, and fold the edges out.  Glue them down with a little Zig pen adhesive.  Use a black glaze pen to color the lapels, and a small bow tie cut from a scrap of black.  Allow these to dry.

Adhere the black groom piece on a second white heart, add the bow tie, and then add 3 buttons with your black glaze pen.

Emboss the white heart with a frilly design, and add Diamond Stickles.  When that dries, add pearl accents along the top.

The outside and inside white panels are stamped with a heart from the I{Heart}Hearts stamp set (ret.) in Platinum Brilliance Ink.
Add a frilly Congratulations stamp, some photo corners to each white corner as frame pieces, and your card is finished!

I really love this as a wedding card.

Wedding Card for my Cousin!

I'm SO excited for my cousin Jon! He's getting married on Monday to a very sweet girl named Olga. My Mom and sister have told me much about her, and Bennie and I are excited to meet her soon!

I've made several versions of this wedding card since the summer, and like it SO much! It's definitely my favorite. They should have the card and gift we sent along by the weekend.

I'm so sorry we couldn't be there, but we definitely will be thinking of them both on their special day!

This is the inside view of the card.

I used a 5 x 7 card base, and 3 Stampin' Up sets, I {Heart} Hearts, Teeny Tiny Wishes, and Salutations along with my Silver Brilliance ink to stamp the silver hearts on the background.

Your comments are always appreciated!

Wedding Card

The Splitcoast Stampers website (almost the be-all and end-all of stamping techniques) had these ADORABLE wedding/anniversary cards... and since I have a very special wedding to attend, I just had to make one!

One difference on the 'tuxedo'... I didn't cut all through to the bottom, but folded back the flaps and used my black glaze pen to make the lapels for the tuxedo. I also hand-cut the tie instead of using black ribbon as the other samples have done.

I embossed the white heart with a Cuttlebug strip, used Diamond Stickles to highlight the raised area... and then half-pearls to highlight the top of the 'dress'.

For the Newlyweds stamp comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, and my two newest punches; Word Window and two of the Modern Label punches... one cut to make a 2nd layer.

On the white areas, I used Silver Brilliance Ink to stamp the flowered heart from the stamp set I {Heart} Hearts to give some continuity between the background paper (Paper Studio Wedding Stack) and the white foreground piece.

I also used the photocorners from the Jasmine cartridge.

Before sealing the envelope, I did add the Congratulations stamp from one of the newer sets on the top center of the card.

Valentine's Day 2010 - OSW!!

I'm still stuck on these One Sheet Wonder cards!!!
I used lots of different inks and stamp sets, all from Stampin' Up:
Inks:
Yo Yo Yellow
Pink Pirouette
Riding Hood Red
Purely Pomegranate and
Rich Razzleberry
The stamp sets I used:
Love You Much
Priceless
I {Heart} Hearts
Well Scripted and
Framed with Love

I didn't make all 10 cards out of the stamped sheet, so that allowed me to use some pieces I cut freely for the card insides and the punched and over-stamped pieces. Please enjoy!!

Your kind comments are always appreciated!
