Oh YUCK!

What is this cruddy thing going around!?
Sore throat, body aches, sleeping all the time, no appetite (one good thing)
feeling like I'm in a fog... Uh!

DH is wonderful and says I do not look like a wet, limp rag, but
I sure do feel like one!

Soon it will go away and I will be my right,
chipper self again soon! I'm looking very forward
to that day!!

Cricut Decal!!!

I've actually had the decal sitting on my lamp table now since NOVEMBER!
It's such a beautiful day today, I finally got it put on my (beloved) truck.

Thanks Okie!!

It's a BAG TAG!!!

My very first Blog Tag... THANKS Angelique!

1. Post a picture of whatever bag you are using today - not last weekend when you and your hubby went out to that fabulous restaurant. No cheating!!!
2. Tell us how much it cost. This is a no-judgment zone -- there will be no ridiculing or eye rolling here. And, if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, I'd love to hear it.

Here goes!!

My purse story.... so I'm not one of those girls that has a purse for every outfit-though I do have one very special beaded bag I use probably once every 5 years or so for extra special occasions. I decided about a year and a half ago that I needed a new purse. DH and I went to the local Ross, and spent about an hour looking.

My only specifications were that it HAD to have
1. a pocket for my cell phone, and
2. enough pockets for all my junk. LOL

I found this one (leather) for about $26 I think it was. I know it wasn't much more than that. I carry it everywhere - and it has everything in it!!
It's 3 3/4 pounds - about a foot long, and 6 inches wide.

I'll probably carry it for another 4 or 5 years or until I get sick of it.... but I really do like this purse! I can loop the handles around the bottom and shorten it for a hand bag, carry it over my shoulder, or just throw it in the back seat!

SO.... I'm tagging these 5 people.
It's a BAG TAG!

3. Micki

What fun!!! Can't wait to see yours!

Christmas Challenge - February Cards

This month, our 5 card challenge was two-fold.
We were to create a square card, with no sentiment on the front.

This is my take on the square cards, and the stamp shows the
sentiment I stamped on the inside.

I got the Ultimate Crafter's Companion this week, and it is GREAT for making bows!!!
I could never do them very well before, but take a look at these! They're perfect.. Whoo HOOO
LOL

Baby Boy Swap

Another first for me... this is my first swap over on the Cricut Messageboard - I've got a dear friend expecting a boy, and this was the perfect opportunity to make something cute, and exchange it for lots of other cute things to use for the baby album I have planned for her!

These are the things I included... I made 10 of each set... and will in turn receive an equal amount of items from the others in the swap.

Stampin' Up Club! ~ January Group

So through the Cricut Message board I've discovered so many new things... one of them, a company called Stampin' Up! WOW! Talk about quality!!

Through their find a demonstrator website, I found the BEST demo. in the Tulsa area.... Kathy Douglas. She's awesome!

I was able to join her Stampin' Up club - and this is what we made during our January Meeting...

Aren't they cute?
We used the Love You Much set, the scalloped punch, the scalloped circle punch, the ink pads, markers, crystal effects, all kinds of fun things... Can't wait 'til the next meeting!!

How Cute is This?

I found this at JoAnn's the other day, and even though I am NOT a big fan of anything green, I just had to have this... it's so cute!

Do you know that it holds lots of 12x12 stacks!? :)

Cards for Soldiers "Color Challenge" 1/26 - 2/16 Second Set

I just finished these tonight, and they'll be going out in the mail at least by Wednesday... Purple was always my sister's favorite color, but recently it has become my favorite also... much to the chagrin of our Mom... Blue was always my color, and Purple was Gail's... now I always reach for the purple! LOL
I'm really having a ball with the Spellbinders Photo Corners... with ink instead of embossed.

Cards for Soldiers "Color Challenge" 1/26 - 2/16

Once I got started on this challenge, I really LOVED it! I have 15 more cards coming in a different color scheme, but this is my set of 15 in blue. I made 3 of each of the 5 varieties... Birthday, Anniversary, Miss You, Thank You, and a Kid's card.... I LOVE that new Anniversary stamp. I used Blue Stampin' Up Craft ink, and clear Ranger embossing powder... so nice!
