New Catalog (2016-2017) Event Samples 9

One of these cards are in MY colors!!  YAY Bermuda Bay! and the other is completely in the new colors.

This card features 3 stamp sets.  Build-a Birthday, Crazy About You, and Perpetual Birthday Calendar.
With the exception of the "happy" die cut, this card is only stamping, with a few Wink of Stella accents.

This card features the new colors, and Washi Tape!   Instead of stamping the cake layers, I used the Washi Tape.
I hope you like them both.

New Catalog (2016 - 2017) Event Samples 4

Here are two more cards I made showing the same basic stamping technique, with one relatively plain card, and the other amplified to show more detail.

Both cards use only the new color Emerald Envy.
Now anyone who knows me very well knows how I've always hated the color green.... over the years as I've been crafting and stamping (since 2008) I've come to grudgingly realize that I need green in my crafting.  Grass, leaves, accent color....  you just need to use green.

Well, when I saw our preview of the new colors, I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with the new color Emerald Envy.  LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
You should have seen the shock on my mother's face when I told her how much I love this color!

The first card is stamped at the top, and not reinked, but stamped below to cascade the colors.
This amplified version just adds two details the first card after I tore the stamped piece.  I added Washi Tape, and a banner die cut with a Happy Birthday from a different stamp set.

Same card, two completely different looks.

If you are looking for a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and would like to talk about creative ideas or how to add to your stamping and crafting skills, contact me!  I'd love to help.

Thank You Cards

Again this year I received some wonderful Christmas gifts from students.  I spent an afternoon making these Thank-You cards.

I really enjoy using the Thanks die - you can put almost any design on the card, and the die-cut adds that perfect detail to the card!

Sending thanks to the parents and students for wonderful, thoughtful Christmas gifts!

More Painted Blooms

At the card class I gave, we made 8 cards, so each attendee had a choice of 2 more cards from the following selection.

The first one looks complicated, but it really isn't.  The most difficult thing was putting the bow together, and that's just fun - and lots of glue dots!!

I love all the cards, but this last one uses the strip you cut off to make the One-Sheet Wonders posted 2 days ago, so there was no waste! :)
