After 'just dealing' with it for awhile, I got out some of the non-stick kitchen shelving I had, and cut it to the size I needed for my stamp pads.... it works GREAT!!!!!
I can smoosh the stamps as much as I want, and I don't have to chase the pad all over the table anymore!
shelf liner.
Hope this helps!!!

What a great idea! I'm going to try that tonight. ~chris
Just a word of warning ... if the rubberized mat is left on a wood surface or the top of scanner (that type of surface) it can ruin the surface. Voice of experience here. While it is great for things not to slip, it is amazing the damage it can cause long term. We lived in earthquake country for ages. After the big earthquake in 94, we put these types of mats under our monitors, computers etc. When they were removed, the wood surfaces and the plastic surfaces were damaged. We had used kitchen shelving products as well as earthquake mats. Just an FYI.
Mary!!
Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely remember that... but my ink pad mat gets moved off my dining room table when I'm finished, and it sits on my Cricut Table, which is plastic.
THANKS for the info!! I know it will help others!
what a great idea!
Glad you like the idea!! It sure does make a difference when you're chasing those ink pads all over!!
